Tour Program ITINERARIES:

Day1, Istanbul - Sanliurfa (_,L,D):     getting an early flight to Sanliurfa, meeting at the GAP airport on arrival and heading our route is Göbeklitepe. Göbeklitepe, discovered in recent years and the most important region in human history. (Unesco W.H.) We visit this ruin that bears the traces of life from 12 thousand years ago and then we go to our hotel. After check-in, we take a short rest and walk around this mystical city. We drink tea and buy spices with local people. We also set foot on these lands where Prophet Abraham and many saints lived and set foot. visiting Sanliurfa Castle, Khalil al-Rahman Mosque, Balikligol; “the Legendary Pool of Sacred Fish”, Cave of Prophet Abraham where he was born and than mosaic museum.

Dinner and overnight in Sanliurfa.

Day2, Sanliurfa – Harran – Zeugma – Halfeti – Gaziantep(B, L, D):   Checking out after breakfast and free time for visiting largest ancient mosaic ste museum of Sanliurfa(Unesco wh) and than driving trouh Harran. Ancient Carrhae, was a major ancient city upper Mesopotamia whose site is in modrn city Harran. The archaeological remains are in the ancient Harran, a major commercial, cultural, science and religious center first inhibited in the Chalcalitic Age (6th millenium B.C.) The city was called Hellenopolis in the Early Christian period. We are going to visit the first university ruins established in ancient times in the southeast, the ruins of Harran University, see the outpost castles, take a break in their cone-shaped houses unique to Harran and get to know the people of the region and get to know their culture. End of the tour, we are setting of the road again trough Gaziantep. We take a break in Birecik for our lunch and taste another flavor, the famous eggplant kebab peculiar to the region. Than visiting Zeugma site which is a the side of the river Euphrates enroute. Afterwards, we go to the villages under the Birecik dam lake and Halfeti. In Halfeti, which has been set in the series, you can see RumKale, which is built on steep rocks, with our boat tour in Birecik lake. Afterwards, we take our places in our vehicles to go to Gaziantep, which is the industrial and cultural center of the Southeast, our veteran city, gourmet and flavor center. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel in Gaziantep.

Day3, Gaziantep – Istanbul (B,L,_):    After breakfast we are exploring the city of history, mystizim, gurme (see below ) Gaziantep has large relics of many civilacitaion at the Archaeology and Mosaic Museum of Gaziantep (Zeugma Mosaic Museum) , Gaziantep Castle, Gaziantep War Museum, Dervish museum and Mevlevi Lodge, Emine Gogus Cuisine Museum and some mosques like Boyacı, Şirvani, Ömeriye, Sheyh Fethullah etc, and coffee shops and historical markets/bazaars which called han or inn as Zincirli Bedesten, Anatolia inn, Kürkçü inn, Tütüncü han, having tredational coffe at Tahmis Coffee House and testing the cuisine of Gaziantep as lahmacun, kebabps baklavas.. etc. Having free time after the breakfast until the pick up time for transfer to the airport. Return from Gaziantep airport to Istanbul
