TOUR PROGRAM ITINERARIES
Day1 –Istanbul – Denizli – Salda – Burdur – Salagassos Isparta (D):
We meet at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport in the early morning to harvest and observe the roses in the Lakes region and take our place on the plane that will take us to Denizli. Approximately one and a half hours later, we arrive in Denizli-Çardak.
He gets into our vehicle waiting for us and our first stop is Salda Lake, which is a wonderful one of the world. Turkey's deepest freshwater-salt- lake, it's measurable depth of 185 meters. Salda is the third deepest lake in the world also. It is located in the Yeşilova district of Burdur.
You can swim on the beach of the lake, about 5 kilometers from the district center. The altitude (altitude) of Salda Lake from the sea level is 1193 meters. The lake, which has a surface area of 44 square kilometers is estimated to have been formed by a geological collapse thousands of years ago.
Large carp fish live in the lake, which has a round structure. Salda Lake and its surrounding, has been protected as a first degree natural site since 1989. With white sandy beaches and crystal-clear, as known as Turkey' Maldives. The sands are known as similar of the Mars land features. After getting our morning coffee here, we set off trough next stop is Burdur. After the city tour and lunch, our destination is Sagalassos this time.
The magnificent Sagalassos Ancient City, located at the foot of the 1600 altitude mountain with its ancient fountain, which has been flowing continuously for 2000 years and which is not in any ancient city, is located 7 km northeast of Ağlasun district of Isparta. Known as the capital of Pisidia in Ancient Greece, most of the structures of the city, the best part of which survived, is the theater department, but with the recent excavations, Agora and Slope Houses and Sagalassos make us a time travel in history.
Arriving in Isparta in the late afternoon and settling in our hotel. Dinner and accomodation at our hotel in Isparta.
Day2 Isparta – Guneykent – Islamkoy – Egirdir (B,D):
Today, we are moving around villages of rose gardens and rose fields to being in the harvest and visioning the harvest..
we are in Isparta, which is adorned with rose gardens and streets. After breakfast in our hotel in the morning; (our day is to see the endless rose gardens at harvest time, to be enchanted by the scent and image of roses and to accompany the women picking roses in the early hours of the morning, to take the dazzling roses to the factories by filling them in sacks. We spend time also to see and learn about the product processes of roses products.)
Our journey to learn the adventure of the rose begins in the early hours of the morning. While passing through the valleys lined with rose gardens, we arrive at Güneykent Town while saying hello to the day with the fragrant rose scents.
We take our place in the rose gardens with our guide to accompany the women picking roses to experience an extraordinary event with rose harvest flowers and fragrant scents.
After our rose picking event, we move to the Rose Oil Factory and observe the processes by following the production stages.
After attending these festival events organized by the Municipality of Isparta we are setting of trough Islamköy to visit and see the Republic of Turkey Democracy and Development Museum of the Turkey's most colorful politician and ninth President Süleyman Demirel.
Then we return to Isparta and as the time permits, we visit Atabey Ertokuş Madrasah(known with education in astronomy and medicine), which was built in 1224 by the Seljuk commander Ertokuş, during the reign of Alaaddin Keykubat I.
Dinner and accomodation in our hotel.
Transportation is provided for our guests who wish to have dinner (extra) on the shores of Lake Eğridir, where they can taste the local kitchen and flavors.
Day3 –Isparta – Egirdir – Kovada – Yazili Kanyon – Şelaleler – Antalya - Istanbul
We leave our hotel after breakfast and setting of to Eğridir, which is our first stop today, by passing the rose-scented ways.
In addition to the natural beauty of Lake Eğirdir, we visit the historical sites Dündar Bey Madrasa, HızırBey Mosque, Ayastefanos church and then we go to another natural wonder, through the apple orchards, and arrive at Kovada Lake National Park. Kovada Lake, which is the southward extension of Eğirdir Lake, took its present form after the narrow valley in between was filled with alluviums. The lake fauna, which consists of freshwater perch (sudak), freshwater lobster and carp, is quite good in number. The vegetation consisting of red pine, oak, plane trees and the natural beauty of the park contribute to the open air recreation potential of the National Park, which is the main resource value. The karst morphology, which prepares the formation of the field, provides the opportunity to explore the virgin nature, walk, view the scenery, climb and camp. Walking through the paths prepared for hiking in the National Park with a rich vegetation will be one of the most beautiful and enjoyable aspects of this trip.
After our pleasant walk in Kovada Lake National Park, we get to our vehicle and set off for another stop, Yazılı Canyon. After a difficult journey, we will see Yazılı Canyon, which was used as a gateway in the Western Taurus Mountains that separated the Mediterranean from Anatolia in ancient times. We take lunch here and after a short break we continue our way to Antalya.
We will arrive in Antalya early in the evening, after a waterfall and city tour and a short break, we go to the airport and return with our plane at the evening. With our journey, which we will complete with a flight of approximately 75 minutes, we arrive in Istanbul before midnight and end our trip with a sweet tiredness..
After a sightseeing tour intertwined with history, culture and nature, we are leaving to meet again with the pleasure of leaving a busy schedule behind, sweet tiredness and the excitement of being able to participate in the next KanulaTur tour.
