ITINERARY:

Day 1 - Istanbul - Arrival Day (D)     : You are welcome to Turkey Istanbul Airport. Meeting with KanulaTour staff and informed within English language as general of Istanbul and Turkey during transfer to your accomodating hotel. Starting to discover Istanbul at the afternoon.

After the panoramic city tour time for the tour of Bosphorus. First, visiting the Spice Bazzar which known as Egyptian Bazaar also. The air here is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme and every other conceivable herb and spice and than Bosphorus By Boat, a traditional excursion by boat along the waterway separating Europe and Asia. The shore is lined with old wooden villas, palaces of marble, fortresses, and small fishing villages. During the excursion you will see the magnificent sights of the following attractions from your boat.

Dolmabahce Palace, and further along, the parks and imperial pavilions of Yildiz Palace. On the coastal edge of this park, is Ciragan Palace, 300 meters of its marble facade faces the shore. At Ortakoy a great variety of artists gather every Sunday to display their work along the street. Ortakoy is a symbol of tolerance with church and mosque and synagogue existing side by side for centuries. Rumeli Fortress, built by Mehmet the Conqueror in 1452 prior to the conquest of Istanbul was completed in only four months to control and protect the infamous Bosphorus passage. It is one of the most beautiful works of military architecture anywhere in the world. Beylerbeyi Palace, the summer residence of Ottoman sultans exists in its original renovated glory featuring original antique furniture and magnificent gardens with the Harem on the Asian side of Istanbul. Bosphorus Bridge, enjoy a unique chance to step from one continent (Asia) to another (Europe).

Day 2 - Istanbul “City Tour” – Cappadocia (B, D)     : Having the buffet breakfast at the hotel and going to discover Istanbul, there is the tour of Istanbul Old City, to see Byzantium and Ottoman relics. Checking out from the hotel and driving trough the old city.

You will see and visit; Haghia Sophia Museum(from out), this ancient basilica built by Constantine the Great in the 4th century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century. This is one of the architectural marvels of all times. The Topkapı Palace Museum, the great palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries housing an exquisite collection of cyrstal, silver and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, the Holy islamic mantle; enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed. Sultanahmet Imperial Mosque, which is built in the 16th century and it is known as the Blue Mosque, because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. Ancient Hippodrome, the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine.

After lunch time walking trough The Grand Bazzar, in this labyrinth of streets and passages are more then 4,000 shops with each trade having its own area: the goldsmiths' street, the carpet sellers, Turkish arts and crafts, such as handpainted ceramic plates, hand-honed copperware, brassware and trays, water ewers, onyx-ware and meerschaum pipes.

After the tour, having dinner in a local Turkish resaurant and driving to the airport for getting the domestic flight to Cappadocia. After one and half hour flight, arrive to Cappadocia and transferring to accomodating hotel.

Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 3 –Cappadocia (B, L, D)     : After the buffet breakfast at the hotel meeting with the guide for discover Cappadocia, the incrediable Cappadocia with Devrent Imagination Valley and walk through this lunar landscape, the highest point of the region Uchisar Rock Castle, a panoramic view of Goreme valley and Goreme OpenAir Museum (rock cut churches, frescoes, monastery)

Having lunch in a local restaurant in Avanos and after Pashabaglari Chimneys, the World famous Fairy Chimneys, the village of Amanos, where you will witness a pottery-making demonstration using ancient Hittite techniques.

After visit and see Kaymakli Underground City (see how the people lived in this multi level city complete with stables, kitchens, storage chambers and wine making rooms) Return to the hotel.

There is Turkish night as optional in the evening.

Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 4 – Cappadocia – Kusadası (B, D)     : Start to the day within an excited adrenalin day, optional Hot Air Balloon ride over Cappadocia Valley of “fairy Chimneys”. Hardly Recommended..

A relax breakfast at the hotel and check out and free time for more discover Cappadocia or visit another side with an optional extra tour and seeing Triple chimneys panorama at Urgup, Trekking activity from sunset point (Kizilcukur) to Cavusin through Red Rose Valley. This valley holds different colors and types of rock formations. The trakking lenght about 4800 mt and taking about 3,5-4 hours, 15 min breaktime  in the middle of the way.  Lunch in a local restaurant.. Piegion Valley .

Afternoon driving trough the airport to get the domestic flight from Cappadocia airport to Izmir. The flight time is about 1h30m. Meeting in Izmir airport and driving trough the most known Medditirenian city is Kusadasi. Check-in on arrival to the hotel.

Dinner and accomodation in Kusadası.

Day 5 – Kushadasi – Ephesos & Virgin Mary (B, L, D)     : After the breakfast, there is a full day tour of history;  with a guided tour of the site of one of the Seven Ancient Wonders of World, the site of Temple of Artemis(one hour) and a the ancient city of Ephesus(about two hours).Feel  the mystical atmosphere of the city and stadium where chariot and horse races were once held.  You will also have the chance to experience some Tukish handicrafts..Visit the pilgrimage point claimed to be the last home of the Virgin Mary mount solmissos (half hours) and your last Visit will be Sirince village (one hour) which is located on the top of a mountain and famous with wines that you can taste. After the tour return to the hotel and free time, enjoying with the mild climet of Kushadasi.

Dinner and overnight in Kushadası.

Day 6 – Kushadasi – Pamukkale – Istanbul (B, L, D)     : After the breakfast, there is a full day tour of visitig Pamukkale(cotton castles) and Heirapolis, a beautiful and spectacular natural site near Denizli, unique in the World. Thermal spring waters have carved this fantastic formation of stalactites. Thermal waters have been used since Roman times for their therapeutic Powers. Situated on the plateau are both the thermal center with its motels, thermal pools and ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis. including magnificently preserved necropolis,  the main steet, gates, the thermal baths, the Greco Roman theatre and the Basilica of St. Philippe. Swim in a theraputic bath of hot spring mineral waters.. Monument on this site includes the ancient thermal baths which have been restored and converted into an archaeological museum.

After the tour dropp of to the Denizli-Çardak airport for evening flight to Istanbul, you have 1h30m flight back and meeting in the airport to transfering to the hotel.

Day 7 – Istanbul (B, D)     : After the breakfast at the accomodated hotel, the free day for shopping and/or personall enjoyment. Meeting at the appointed time in the hotel and having early dinner before driving trough the airport for the International flight back.
